Laundering instructions...
If your work gets soiled, you may launder it by letting it soak in cool water with a few drops of a mild liquid detergent. After soaking for awhile, swish it around in the water a bit and check to see if you have any soiled spots left on it. If so, you may gently rub the fabric together to loosen the spot. Rinse in clean cool water until no residue of detergent remains. Gently squeeze (NEVER WRING) to remove excess water. Roll tightly in a white or light colored bath towel to remove remaining excess water. Lay flat on the towel to dry. Iron on the backside with a warm iron.
Some dark shades of floss, especially dark and bright reds, tend to bleed when they get wet. You can avoid a problem with these colors by laundering the floss before using it to stitch. If you should run into a bleeding problem on a design that is already stitched, try laundering with the instructions given above. It will sometimes work but you may have to let it soak longer.
NEVER WASH IN A WASHING MACHINE, NOT EVEN ON A GENTLE CYCLE.
